**Craig Taylor**
Co-founder
Craig Taylor is the founder and CEO of Iapetus Holdings, a multimillion-dollar portfolio of energy service companies and alternative investments with more than 400 employees across seven U.S. offices. Craig has over 20 years of experience in the finance and energy space. Prior to his career in energy, he was a lawyer at White & Case, LLP in New York.
Before beginning his career, Craig spent several years as a leader in the United States Navy, where he was a Petty Officer 3rd Class for the Presidential Honor Guard and USS Ticonderoga. Craig received his B.S. in management from the University of Maryland, his J.D. from Fordham University, and his MBA through the joint Global Executive Program at Columbia University and London Business School.

**Tejpal Singh**
Co-founder
Tej Singh serves as Chief Operating Officer for Iapetus Holdings and its operating companies. Prior to joining Iapetus Holdings in 2012, Tej was at Mercuria and Goldman Sachs, where he spent nearly six years in commodities trading. Tej also previously worked in various trading and consulting roles at Deloitte, TD Securities, Dynegy, and Ontario Power Generation.
Tej obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Management Studies from McMaster University in Ontario. He was an active player raising money and defining business strategy for a Canadian commercial startup for seven years. In 2021, Tej was honored among the recipients of the Top 50 Financial Leaders award by the National Diversity & Leadership Conference.

Kamari Brewer serves Executive Director of Atlas Scholars. She joins with over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, including most recently as Chief Program Officer at The Council on Recovery. Prior to her time at The Council on Recovery, Kamari served as Executive Director of The Posse Foundation in Houston, and as a Program Director at Baylor College of Medicine, where she helped expand Baylor’s On BELAY program focused on youth in underserved communities. Kamari has also served in therapy roles in various settings, including private practice, Children’s Protective Services, and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Kamari has dedicated her career towards empowering young adults to reach their full potential. She holds a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M.

Joshua Silberman
Program Coordinator

Josh Silberman is Program Coordinator of Atlas Scholars. Joshua brings a wealth of experience to Atlas Scholars, having previously served as a teacher and professor at the first Early College High School in Texas. In his work as an educator, he has served at Houston Community College, as well as in multiple districts in the greater Houston and Austin areas. During his time in Houston ISD, he instituted a TEDx youth event and multiple research programs unique to the Houston area.

Joshua holds a master’s degree in Education from The University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree from The University of Houston. He has also been invited to serve as a speaker for TEDxRiceU and Houston Public Media on the topic of increasing opportunities for students while in high school and the role that adults play in that process.
